Do we need a work day at any of the courses? I'm sure the club members will turn up in force if they are needed. I haven't been out to the Forest in a while. Is it up to the typical Memphis standards?

From the NW corner of the I-240 loop take exit 2A to Millington on Hwy 51. Go 2.6 miles and turn left on Watkins. Go 2.8 miles and turn left on Robinson. From the intersection of Robinson and Benjestown turn south. Go 0.1 miles where Benjestown takes an abrupt right. Turn right on Benjestown for 3.4 miles. Look for the Bud Hill sign at a gravel road on the right. Proceed on the gravel road past the white house and barns, through the gate and on around to the club house parking area.

Scott-- I had the same idea about the pin positions and I talked with Kevin Land on Saturday about putting the pins in the "original" positions. He seemed like he thought it was a good idea. We talked about:

1- nothing
2- medium position (original)
3- always the same
4- they put a new collar in the original position and hopefully will move it there
5- nothing
6- long (original)
7- long (original)
8- to the right--of course straight would be the original position and I'd love to see it there since the last time it was there was the last time I hit metal off the tee.
9- long (original)
10- Landman said it would be long--probably going to use the long position for West #5
11- straight (original)
12- 4 positions to choose from, who knows
13-18 we didn't really talk about it, but in my opinion, there is no reason not to put them all in the original positions.

I didn't get to look at the front 9, but the back is looking good.

Hey, I just wanted everyone to know that I had the greatest time this weekend. This was one of the best tournaments I've ever been to. My friends and I came all the way up from Hattiesburg, MS and truly enjoyed ourselves. All the locals were helpful showing us around and making us feel at home. I want to thank Danny and Barbara for a great weekend, and we hope to make it up there more often for events. Thank you all.

Jamie
